Otta's take

Xav Kearney

CTO of Otta

Percipient brings super-fast speed to data analysis to ensure the fast extraction of vital information from the multitude of data gathered. With data now being collected at such a great rate, the ability for humans to make sense of it all has been surpassed, yet it holds so much knowledge and insight that businesses and nations depend on.

Percipient’s flagship platform Mirage uses AI and machine recognition to detect objects and recognise faces. With faster than real-time processing of data, areas of interest or concern can be highlighted for human analysts to assess.

While other companies such as Hive are also developing AI recognition software, and businesses like NS2 are providing national security solutions, Percipient brings together AI video analysis with incredibly fast data analysis. Aiming its services at large corporations and entire nations, the company has its spotlight product, Mirage, already implemented by US National Security and enterprise organisations.
