Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in sales management and Retail Media
  • We're looking for a charismatic relationship builder who is proactive, innovative, and well-connected
  • 10+ years of proven success in software sales and experience within the retail media industry
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing a sales team, with a minimum team size of 10 people
  • Proven track record of driving regional growth for a SaaS company through acquiring new clients and implementing effective upsell/cross-sell strategies
  • Must be a highly business-driven individual who excels in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be an added advantage

What the job involves

  • Mirakl is actively looking for a RVP, Mirakl Ads to support the rapid adoption of Mirakl Ads and contribute to our growth
  • As the RVP for Mirakl Ads, you'll spearhead the expansion of our retail media activities, leading a dynamic sales team to promote Mirakl Ads among both new and existing customers
  • You'll play a key role in shaping our corporate sales strategy, driving its execution, and achieving strategic goals
  • Additionally, you will provide executive sponsorship for clients, handle initial escalations, and ensure smooth customer engagements
  • Play a pivotal and inspiring role in building, leading, and motivating a talented sales team composed of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Solution Engineers, driving them toward unparalleled success
  • Define global go to market strategy consistent with Mirakl’s objectives
  • Establish solid relationships with key players at the highest levels of an organization, particularly within the VP, EVP, and C-suite
  • Continuous mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training duties
  • Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Develop partnerships and increase the visibility of Mirakl Ads in the E-Commerce and Retail Media sector
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and partners to build accurate forecast and pipeline
  • Reporting on sales activity and revenue forecast

Our take

Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this : if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.

Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 400 companies develop new marketplaces to drive adoption of their products. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises including Best Buy Canada, Carrefour and Office Depot – as well as industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.

Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding, most recently closing a Series E round at a valuation exceeding $3 billion. This investment is being used to triple the size of its engineering team and double its customer success staff headcount. With very solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market.
