Otta's take

Ripjar provides a data intelligence platform, Labyrinth, that uses Artificial Intelligence to protect organisations against financial crime threats like money laundering, fraud, and funding terrorism. Labyrinth enables human analysts to make better-informed decisions with speed and accuracy, saving their clients’ cost and time.

As CEO Jeremy Annis says, investment from Long Ridge "signals enormous confidence in [their] world-leading data intelligence technology and ability to protect companies and governments from criminal behaviour which threatens their assets and prosperity." Ripjar claim to have the most sophisticated and advanced cyber-security solution on the market with Labryinth.

Economic uncertainty around the world has stoked criminal financial activity at the same time that an increasing number of transactions are moving online. Tech companies (and the UK government) have been looking to Ripjar to overcome these threats. With a global client base now numbers over 20,000, and Dow Jones' recent equity investment, the company is well set to see further growth.
