Who you are

  • At least 7 years’ experience in a commercial product or related role
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer experience focused mindset
  • Intellectually curious, stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Strong oral and written communicator, able to communicate vision, thoughts, ideas, and solutions to different audiences
  • Experience with 0-1 product management processes
  • Knowledge & understanding of REST APIs
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment
  • Experience in B2B payments (push payments & card)
  • Collaborative individual with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple divisions

What the job involves

  • The candidate will help define and execute Mastercard’s Embedded Finance strategy focusing on the API product layer, leading market research, validating product assumptions, working closely with customers, and delivering blue ocean products to market whilst continuing to add value for our customers
  • The Digital product team are responsible for our clients’ digital interactions with Mastercard Commercial Solutions including UI, API & File
  • We are thought leaders and innovators, enabling clients to achieve their goals, delivering value every step of the way
  • Working closely with partner product teams to understand existing use cases of products
  • Exploring new and innovative ways to use products to deliver value
  • Identify ways to disrupt our own business model that allow us to introduce new revenue streams
  • Conduct market research to identify new value propositions
  • Understand the key personas, partners, market participants, channels etc. that are relevant to our products
  • Product commercialization including go-to market strategy, training materials and sales enablement
  • Work with engineering to define the roadmap for our digital client channels
  • Design and implement a client facing API layer for all Mastercard products
  • Continuously iterate on products with a customer centric approach
  • Be the “voice of the customer” internally, representing customer pains and potential gains to key stakeholders
