Role

Who you are

  • You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering or a comparable role
  • You have a very strong knowledge of SQL
  • You are proficient in Python and Git
  • You are familiar with ETL tools & processes ;You are proficient with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Metabase…)
  • You have a track record of generating key insights to trigger business decisions
  • You have a good grasp of business fundamentals
  • You are results-oriented and hands-on, with a “getting things done” attitude
  • You are rigorous & highly structured
  • You are fluent in English. French is a plus

What the job involves

  • MyTraffic is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the global Revenue Operations team & bring our growth engine to the next level. Your mission will be to :
  • 1. Build a best-in-class business intelligence platform, with a focus on company strategy, sales, & customer success
  • 2. Deliver strong reporting & impactful analyses to boost business performance & inform strategic decisions
  • 3. Contribute to making our company more data-driven in its decision making
  • You will collaborate with the data engineering team to build the data warehouse, using the latest technology in the market
  • You are joining at a critical position a high-growth company that is developing its products portfolio & geographic footprint

  • You will report directly to our VP Strategy & Operations & will work closely with the CRO & VP Customer Success and their teams, as well as with our Data Science & Data Engineering teams
  • As a key contributor to our business decision making, you will enjoy substantial exposure to our CEO, CFO & C-Suite
  • Your scope will cover all geographies & products across the entire prospect & customer journey
  • Build the data warehouse: define the data model, extract transform and load data from various source
  • Choose and set up the right visualization tools
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions & create best in class reporting to inform business decisions across the company
  • Enable up to date, easy to use monitoring of company KPIs, especially revenue generation
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to produce impactful insights to inform business decisions & formulate recommendations
  • Assist with monitoring data pipeline issues to ensure data integrity and reliability
  • Support our strategy with quantitative analysis, with a focus on sales, product & customer success
  • Improve our data platform, by learning & development best practices & implementing key actions, in coordination with data engineers
  • Make our company more data-driven in its decision making
  • Become the reference at MyTraffic on company KPIs
