Who you are

  • Direct (software) sales experience
  • Experience in selling Application delivery management (ADM), DevOps, Hybrid IT solutions is a bonus
  • Native or equivalent business fluency French speaking and be able to express yourself well verbally and written in English
  • Considered to master in knowledge of products, solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large, complex solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of client's business, organizational structure, business processes and financial structure

What the job involves

  • As a Sr Account Executive for our DevOps Cloud portfolio, you will be responsible for leading pursuits in focused territories
  • You will be driving campaigns to build the pipeline, use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities
  • For this opportunity, you will be responsible for a defined set of customers in France
  • Works closely with the extended sales team with PreSales, Professional Services and Customer Success Management in building an effective Opportunity and Close plans
  • Invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver or influence the sale. Use managent (up to C-level) engagement skills to offer value-add solutions to the client
  • Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
  • Utilizes CRM (SalesForce) system as an expert and accurately forecasts business
  • As a Senior Account Executive at OpenText, you'll leverage your expertise to help customers navigate the complexities of cloud-based IT operations and achieve their business goals
  • You'll work with top-tier clients in France, using your deep knowledge of DevOps Cloud and sales acumen to close deals and build lasting relationships
