What the job involves

  • In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring high value, upmarket retailers that have previously not utilized Faire for their buying needs
  • In order to acquire these customers, you will invest upfront in deeply understanding their business to qualify them and prepare for your outreach, introduce them to the Faire platform, educate them on Faire’s value props, and help them navigate the buying process
  • You will also provide valuable upmarket retailer insight and product feedback on blockers to acquisition as the voice of the customer
  • You will manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close, and light touch first 30 day support
  • Drive first orders and spend per ordering retailer through email, phone calls, video meetings, and (when high ROI) in-person meetings in a way that builds trust and credibility and meets or beats goals
  • Discover retailers needs and challenges to match relevant Faire value props and offerings and ensure they understand how to utilize Faire to grow their business
  • Synthesize, measure, and communicate the voice of the customer to provide actionable and invaluable feedback to help size blockers and prioritize product development
  • Help determine what characteristics best prioritize leads and opportunities, test tools, trial tactics, and define processes to help create the outbound retailer motion
  • Accelerate the lifecycle from first touch to win and push the upper limits of conversion rates among the team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on various initiatives to further the success of our upmarket retailers (support, product, design, marketing, etc.)
  • Use data, graphs and reports to truth seek and drive action to beat goals
  • Be relentlessly resourceful, scrappy and act with urgency to ensure Faire’s success
  • Foster a psychologically safe, motivating, inclusive and energizing team culture
