Who you are

  • 3+ years in UX/UI design, preferably in the advertising, e-commerce, finance, or business side of the gaming industry
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional interaction design skills and user-centered design thinking
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively explaining design concepts and reasoning to others
  • Resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, and desire to build an ambitious platform from the ground up
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence product decisions
  • Interested in immersive user experience trends, industry advancements, and emerging technologies

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a dedicated and outstanding Product Designer to help build the Roblox advertising platform. In this role, you will contribute to the entire ads' ecosystem – ads manager, ads formats, publisher tools, moderation, and more. You'll balance the needs of multiple partners and consider both the user needs and business needs as we pioneer new ad formats for Roblox Experiences
  • As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and product marketing, to define and deliver exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and monetization
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform design decisions
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
  • Drive the ads ecosystem experience to improve clarity and efficiency of campaign creation, management, and evaluation
  • Design user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use, incorporating well-known patterns used in Roblox business tools and the online advertising industry
  • Collaborate with the Design Systems team and drive systems evolution, ensuring consistency and scalability
  • Advocate for user needs, maintaining a high bar for quality throughout the design process
