What the job involves

  • This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who wishes to grow and contribute within a high-growth SaaS organization
  • The Billing Analyst will ensure that clients receive their invoices on a timely basis in order to help our sales team with the collections process
  • You will play a key part in solving billing and collection issues as the company continues to scale
  • In this role you will be reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager
  • Create and issue invoices to customers as services are sold by the sales team
  • Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicate with customers via email or phone
  • Respond to customer inquiries, including billing emails and phone calls. Conduct virtual meetings with customers to clarify invoicing issues
  • Liaise with sales and revenue operations team to ensure customers are billed efficiently and correctly, including but not limited to: assisting sales team with supplier set-up, completing vendor intake and registration questionnaires, verbal confirmation via telephone when necessary
  • Ensure all customer accounts are in adherence with the company collection policy
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer support departments, and customers

  • Proactively suggest process improvements that add value to the billing and collections process
  • Assist with other accounting duties/projects as required
