Role
Who you are
- We’re seeking someone with a proven record of being a product owner for multiple core feature teams across both web and mobile platforms, experience working within B2B SaaS startups, operating with a bias for action, and a desire to have an outsize impact and grow their career in a growing company
- 4+ years of experience building products in fast-paced environment with high ownership mentality or deep experience working with SaaS web & mobile products with a demonstrated interest in building products
- Grit, determination, and high accountability; you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and have a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
- Strong natural product sense and innate curiosity combined with customer- and problem-centricity; you correctly prioritize problems and their solutions with ease
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate with design, engineering, customer success, and external users
- Results Oriented: someone who takes proactive initiative and will go the extra mile to get something done. You take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- An Excellent Communicator: You have structured and organized communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate effectively with design, engineering, customer success, product leadership and users

What the job involves
- We're looking for a product manager to help us envision and build the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) / real estate vertical operating system of the future
- In this role, you’ll build and execute on our product roadmap and improve customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction with our core product as the business scales
- Lead full lifecycle product management efforts by overseeing execution for a segment of our core platform functionality on web and mobile and understanding how users engage with and analyze real estate data
- Build clarity: Articulate the right problems to solve to hit goals and identify the next steps required to solve them via clear written and verbal communication
- Be Customer-Focused: You’ll be working to deliver value to both internal and external customers from increasing platform configurability to empower our internal operations team to building out core web and mobile functionality with our external enterprise customers
- Collaborate with your design and engineering counterparts to solve problems, compromise where needed, and find the optimal path to shipping the features brokers nationwide will use to serve their clients every day
Our take
The real estate industry was initially slow to get on the tech-drive, but the last few years have seen a groundswell of demand from professionals for tools that allow them to save time and labor doing the “background” work that leads to closing transactions. Perchwell’s end-to-end workflow platform capitalises on this.
Its services allow real estate agents, mortgage brokers and multiple listing services (MLSs) to more easily manage distributed data, access market research and work with clients via one API. Perchwell launched in 2015 and showed encouraging growth in New York City, eventually winning the custom of the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as major private companies like Sotheby’s.
Founded in New York, Perchwell received $15 million from Multiple Listing Service company REcolorado in 2022, expanding the former's customer base to REcolorado clients. The aim for Perchwell now is expansion into other geographies in the United States.
