Role

Who you are

  • 4+ years quota carrying sales experience in a scaling SaaS environment
  • Minimum annual quota of $1.0M of SaaS or net revenue in a quota-carrying role with ACVs ranging from $30K - $150K
  • Demonstrated experience in consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas

What the job involves

  • As a founding member of Perchwell’s sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving Perchwell's growth by acquiring high-value real estate brokerage customers
  • This client-facing role is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of disrupting the residential real estate industry with innovative technology
  • You will be responsible for establishing Perchwell's market presence in new territories, building and owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation and closing deals
  • Own the full funnel sales cycle – prospecting, initial outreach, product demos, negotiations, and expansions
  • Build Cross Functionally: Collect customer insights and provide valuable inputs to Product, Engineering, and Operations functions as we scale the entire company
  • Operationalize: Build out playbooks, processes, scripts, etc. for the next stage of growth
  • Master the Industry: Understand clients' businesses and match them with Perchwell’s services to make the best recommendations
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a deep understanding of residential market trends and competitive dynamics, using insights to strategically position offerings

Our take

The real estate industry was initially slow to get on the tech-drive, but the last few years have seen a groundswell of demand from professionals for tools that allow them to save time and labor doing the “background” work that leads to closing transactions. Perchwell’s end-to-end workflow platform capitalises on this.

Its services allow real estate agents, mortgage brokers and multiple listing services (MLSs) to more easily manage distributed data, access market research and work with clients via one API. Perchwell launched in 2015 and showed encouraging growth in New York City, eventually winning the custom of the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as major private companies like Sotheby’s.

Founded in New York, Perchwell received $15 million from Multiple Listing Service company REcolorado in 2022, expanding the former's customer base to REcolorado clients. The aim for Perchwell now is expansion into other geographies in the United States.
