Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Big 4 or large regional firm experience preferred
- Understanding of the digital assets or FinTech industry is preferred
- Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important
- Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with finance system implementations or integrations highly sought after
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite
What the job involves
- Circle is looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant who will be a member of the consolidation team to support close package development, tracking and reporting of intercompany activity and chart of accounts management and design
- Supporting production of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package to be sent to stakeholders across the organization in a timely manner
- Track and report on all intercompany activity and FX related impacts for financial reporting, board and capital management purposes
- Ensure consolidation and elimination entries are reflected in a complete and accurate manner
- Identifying process improvements and efficiencies for the close ensuring changes are implemented timely
- Support the design, management and maintenance of the global chart of accounts and legal entity structures in ERP
- Assist on other special projects as required including ERP and associated finance system implementations
