Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a passionate, experienced software developer with 7+ years of experience behind you and you are ready to provide technical guidance and direction to a team of developers through the design, implementation, and automated/integration testing
- You are keen on adopting the best engineering practices for running, monitoring and maintaining complex software
- You bring a diverse knowledge base that you use to help the team solve complex technical problems
- You have a history of delivering successful projects, as well as some lessons learned from failures
- You easily establish relationships and networks with senior internal and external stakeholders, adjusting your communication style to different audiences, often advising others on complex technical matters
- Extensive knowledge of mobile app development from ideation to publishing
- Experience building smooth modern mobile apps for iOS and Android using Typescript/react-native stack
- Native Android or iOS development experience using either Java/Kotlin or Objective-C/Swift
- Experience with Realm.io, Firebase and push notifications
- Familiarity with Node.js ecosystem and associated tools
- Strong SQL knowledge and working knowledge of MongoDB or another document NoSQL database
- Familiar with Docker, GitHub/git
- Curious, data-driven, and you love to ask questions
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Familiarity with commonly used data structures, software design paradigms
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with offline-first mobile applications
- Production experience working with massively adopted (100k+ users) mobile applications
- Working with Startups / fast-moving teams

- We are looking for a Senior Mobile Software Developer to focus on our Invoice Simple brand
- This role is on our Core team, which enables freelancers and contractors to invoice their customers easily and get paid on time. Our products help hundreds of thousands of small businesses save time, stay organized and look professional
- Influence the work of team members, and mentor emerging technical leaders
- Work with engineering and product stakeholders to refine the product roadmap
- Plan and drive execution of product features, taking active part in software development activities, implementing and shipping code
- Take leading role in product refinement sessions, and ensure that your team delivers high-quality, scalable software solutions that address both customer and business goals
- Ensure your team’s solutions are easy to support by encouraging good, scalable design, adopting best engineering practices, and setting the bar for quality
