What the job involves

  • Amazon is developing innovate payments experiences and we're looking for a data-driven, dynamic design leader to infuse design and research best practices into this growing business
  • In this role, you will lead design for experiences across the entire Payments customer journey, driving innovation for features that our customers get excited about
  • You will lead your team to deliver an unforgettable product experience that puts customers at the center of each touchpoint
  • You will have fluency and input in strategy, research and development while working collaboratively with key stakeholder teams across Product, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver superior experiences that exceed expectations
  • Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience design for multiple products across platforms; follow through with the processes and tactics to implement the vision
  • Lead a team of designers to create useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment
  • Guide teams to understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback
  • Coach a team of designers to use business requirements to assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements
  • Support the design team with planning, prioritizing, and overseeing initiatives; manage projects; ensure that all designs are executed on time and at the highest quality levels; manage and scope team initiatives, set priorities, and direct the team to ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with senior leaders from Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering
