What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Product Program Management function
- In this role, you will drive the successful execution of product initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- You will lead a team of Program Managers, establish best practices, and partner with Product Management to ensure the successful launch and adoption of product features
- This full-time position is based out of our Oakland office and reports to the Senior Director of Product Strategy & Operations
- Scale and develop the Program Management function within the Product Department, leading team members to deliver effective program execution
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Product Program Management function
- Establish and standardize program management methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure consistent and efficient program delivery
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all product programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with program objectives
- Engage with executive leadership and other key stakeholders to provide regular updates on program status, risks, and opportunities - providing data-driven insights to support decision-making
- Ensure the successful launch and adoption of new product features. With specific focus on ensuring successful execution of research, discovery, and delivery of product requirements to Engineering, as well as development and execution of detailed product adoption plans with Marketing and Sales
- Program management of additional large and ad-hoc product-driven initiatives

Customers are mostly data analysts at companies with inefficient database schema, who suffer from a high risk of project failures. Fivetran offers rapid integration of complex data services into cloud warehouses, tagging onto the trend towards cloud-based data systems.
By developing and continuously improving cloud applications that adapt to changing APIs and data schemas, Fivetran is attracting customers who seek long-term data viability. Fivetran also benefits from being easy to set up and integrate into a client's existing software.
After acquiring HVR, a data integration competitor, and Teleport Data, Fivetran continues to add functionality and customers via acquisition. A round of funding in 2023 paved the way for expansion into European and Asian markets.
