- 5+ years of experience in sales commission processing, compensation administration or related field
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing compensation plans and processes
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and G Suite, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline processes and workflows
- Familiarity with basic Revenue Accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
What the job involves
- Reddit’s Strategic Finance team is seeking a Sales Commissions Manager who will report directly to the Manager of Sales Compensation and be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing the sales commission processes
- This role involves developing and maintaining commissions plans, ensuring accurate and timely payout of commissions, and providing analytical support to drive sales performance
- Oversee the end-to-end process of calculating and distributing sales commissions and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of variable payouts
- Collect and maintain accurate sales performance data to support commissions calculations and reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate commissions payouts, addressing any discrepancies or payout inquiries effectively
- Calculate and manage monthly and quarterly commissions accruals, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and HR to ensure alignment on commissions plans and policies
- Evaluate and drive continuous improvements on the commissions processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide training and support to sales teams regarding the incentive compensation plans and related commissions processes
