  • You have strong technical background with experience designing, building, and deploying software. C# and .NET core, python, REACT.JS and Postgres are our main technologies, with AWS as our cloud provider

What the job involves

  • Be responsible for the individual growth of multiple Software Engineers across all levels from Junior to Lead by actively finding and assigning opportunities for your team members in collaboration with Senior leadership
  • Build high performing teams able to work with independence and speed while retaining quality
  • Promote team autonomy but know when to course correct or simplify when appropriate in order to meet business objectives
  • Work with colleagues across Product, Design and Engineering enabling teams to be cross functional and highly collaborative
  • Give clarity in direction when leading, communicating, and understanding business objectives
  • Engage with and facilitate technical discussions, able to understand trade-offs and recognise common pitfalls
  • Communicate technical complexity to stakeholders and business leaders. Adjusting approach as necessary to the audience's familiarity with technology concerns
  • Set and monitor engineering practices within a framework of continual improvement
  • Actively participate in daily activities when necessary (comfortable reviewing code, pair programming, designing systems, etc.)
