Who you are
- Qualifications.1 year of work experience or a design degree, with a portfolio demonstrating successful real design projects and cross-platform design experience. A solid understanding of UX principles and some experience with UI design
- Ownership. You own your work, identify and adresss problems and make sure to reach the desired outcome
- Drive. You have an eye for detail, with a great ability to suggest new ideas and drive projects and tasks to completion
- Collaboration. You enjoy cross-departmental projects and have a knack for organising and coordinating them

- Transparency. You are not afraid to make mistakes, ask for help, and learn
- Language. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. German is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Junior Product Designer, you will be the voice of our users, advocating for their needs and continually seeking ways to enhance their experience with our product
- You will apply your foundational knowledge of UX design principles, best practices, user journeys, and Information Architecture to contribute to an outstanding user experience
- Working closely with the product team, you will assist in product discovery, which includes preparing and conducting exploratory user interviews with both existing and potential customers. (Our design tool of choice is Figma.)
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to conceptualize new features
- Apply existing design components, libraries, UX-patterns, and help us rebuild our design system to maintain a consistent and intuitive experience across our application
- Learn and apply the skills needed to enhance design components when necessary (such as creating new UI components, icons, transitions, animations)
- Deliver actionable designs including user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for our various platforms (Web App, iOS, Android)
- Show a willingness to understand the accounting domain, bringing innovative ideas while respecting established industry practices
