What the job involves

  • As a Senior Insight Analyst within the Marketing Insights team, your role will be to help Marketing stakeholders to understand how they can most effectively drive business growth through the delivery of analysis and storytelling
  • Working closely with stakeholders to test and optimise marketing activity across Performance Marketing (Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates), Brand Marketing and CRM
  • Using multiple platforms, datasets and tools (SQL Server, Adobe, PowerBI) to produce robust marketing insights
  • Translating data into action-oriented insight to deliver a clear story to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other insight teams and 3rd parties to produce impactful, cohesive analysis
  • Advocating for new processes and methodologies to improve accuracy of insights and be at the forefront of marketing insight
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business while communicating and managing priorities effectively
  • Supporting and evaluating testing to understand campaign performance, measure incrementality and calculate RO

Founded in 2000, ASOS initially meant 'AsSeenOnScreen' - the initial model being sales of imitations of clothing and accessories seen in movies. Now, the website sells over 850 brands, as well as its own ranges, and ships across the UK, US and EU. Priding itself on keeping up with the latest fashion trends, ASOS is aimed primarily at young people.

ASOS' UK factories, for example, allow it to keep producing items which are up to date with trends; all whilst other brands must wait for international deliveries.

Over the last 20 years, ASOS has built itself into a fashion giant. The company appears to have the potential to emerge unscathed from the economic pressures currently affecting other players in the industry, and continue to capture value into the future.
