Who you are

  • Our ideal candidate is highly collaborative, a strong communicator and project manager, and loves digging into the details
  • 3+ years of work experience in field marketing, event management, or similar role, preferably for an organization that sells to cybersecurity or IT buyers
  • Enthusiastic events professional who is dedicated to building and managing end-to-end programs, media engagements, and events that deliver business impact
  • Proven ability to source, plan, and execute programs on time and within budget
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to come up with creative solutions under pressure on a trade show floor
  • A creative spirit who thinks outside the box, wants to be on the cutting edge of modern marketing trends, and looks for ways to make our brand stand out
  • A project managing wizard with a knack for handling multiple projects at once while maintaining precise attention to detail
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-building and negotiating abilities
  • SaaS, Tech, and/or Cybersecurity experience a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus

What the job involves

  • RunZero is looking for a highly motivated Field Marketing Manager to organize, manage, and execute our marketing events and field programs
  • You will work directly with our go-to-market teams to understand their goals, initiatives, and sales targets, and work to build and manage programs and events that drive our brand and business forward
  • This position reports to the Director of Demand Generation and will work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams
  • Partner with sales leaders and campaign managers to understand current go-to-market needs and create a corresponding event strategy in order to generate quality pipeline and brand awareness experiences
  • Execute and manage pipeline generating and brand-building marketing programs including conferences, hosted events, roundtable discussions, and speaking engagements
  • Manage all aspects of in-person event coordination including the overall event schedule, contract negotiation, ordering and shipping, swag and giveaways, internal communications, on-site logistics, booth build, agenda management, speaker placements, and staffing
  • Manage all aspects of hosted events including venue and menu selection, invite list, agenda, budget, etc
  • Communicate with sales and marketing leadership to ensure completion of post-event follow-up
  • Communicate closely with our in-house content team to develop appropriate materials for all events and programs
  • Travel to most events will be required
