Role
Who you are
- Able to build using React/Typescript/NextJS with high quality and velocity
- Familiarity with GraphQL/Relay is a plus
- Ability to translate design system into reusable React components
- Knowledge of frontend best practices to maximize application quality including unit and integration testing
- Can lead the evolution of frontend architecture as Eppo expands its product into more spaces with more complex collaboration requirements
- Able to mentor other engineers in frontend technology
- Can solve problems of high scope and complexity
- Can positively influence product decisions and lead thoughtful discussions about how to bring the best experience to Eppo’s users possible
- Serve as key reviewer of frontend code

- We are looking for a senior frontend engineer who is interested in building delightful data-intensive applications which are functional, performant, and easy to use
- You have a deep understanding of frontend web technologies and industry best practices, and you have a strong design sense and empathy for the end user

Effective A/B testing (building and comparing the performance of two versions of an app) is of obvious importance for data science teams, but experimentation infrastructure can be very complex to build. Eppo aims to solve this problem by allowing data scientists to run experiments with automated analysis, diagnostics, and investigations on one platform.
The company was created by former Airbnb and Webflow data scientist Chetan Sharma who, having built early experimentation infrastructures for these companies, realized that a better commercial solution was needed to avoid re-building systems from scratch while A/B testing.
Eppo emerged from stealth midway through 2022 with major funding from Menlo Ventures to fuel its expansion. It's worth noting, however, that competition is already hot in the app experimentation niche, with companies like Split and Optimizely offering similar services.
As it looks to catch up with and eventually overtake the field, Eppo is banking on its product offering better overall performance through more effective analysis tools and AI experimentation.
