  • Has skills to analyze data retention and regulatory needs to provide scalable data architecture solutions applying standard patterns and techniques
  • Understands continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and practices. Is able to lead the automation of build, test, and deployment tasks where processes and applications are designed upfront with automation in mind
  • Has skills to undertake infrastructure and deployment automation using industry-standard tooling; understands Platform-as-a-Service to build applications that run on standardized application platforms and deploy specifications
  • Uses advanced knowledge to guide others on a suite of tests focusing on end-user experience for multiple users, performance under load and peak, and other resiliency and capacity scenarios; conducts performance analysis of production data for ongoing assessment and tuning of performance test approaches
  • Has the ability to develop and document test strategy following Mastercard testing standards
  • Has skills to define, organize, and report on test runs for major, minor, and hotfix releases; has skills to conduct various performance tests (e.g., load, spike, breakpoint, endurance)
  • Has skills to evaluate different test automation frameworks and set up test data, service mocks and environments to simulate production-like conditions

  • As a Software Engineer, you will deliver these products and solutions with speed and agility as part of a small team
  • This will involve developing high-performing, highly scalable software solutions and products for some of the world’s top brands
  • Specific tasks vary depending on the project and the business unit that you join in
  • Own complex problems with dependency across services and facilitate cross-functional team interactions to drive resolution
  • Define, design, and develop procedures and solutions at a service level
  • Drive prioritization decisions and trade-offs in working with product partners
  • Identify opportunities and build roadmaps to enhance primary service/function
  • Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery and development
  • Introduce new technologies and architecture by following enterprise guidelines
  • Provide development and architecture guidance to team members
