Role

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in Engineering or technical integrations-related work
  • 1-2+ years of experience managing people
  • Strong coding skills with JavaScript & Python
  • Technical background covering data exchange integrations using technologies such as REST APIs, Flat-File, FTP, etc.; GraphQL is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts to clients and non-technical partners
  • Spanish and/or French language fluency is preferred

Desirable

  • Familiarity working with ERP, PLM, POS, SaaS technologies and/or e-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of the Tray.io IPaaS

What the job involves

  • As a member of the Integrations team, you’ll tackle integrations-related complex problems and implement solutions that support emerging, independent businesses all the way up to global brands and retailers
  • We are looking for a candidate who has technical skills and an appetite for teamwork, who is excited to share the journey of developing & strengthening our integrations technology and the tools that support our data flows and our teams
  • This is an opportunity to be one of the first members of our newly assembled Lab team, responsible for building new integrations offerings for clients as well as internal tools that automate and streamline projects and processes for our client teams working with JOOR integrations
  • Build integration connectors:
  • Implement strategic connectors
  • Help maintain existing connectors by monitoring issues and keeping them up-to-date
  • Execute and oversee the implementation of strategic projects related to our integrations technology and implementation projects:
  • To bring more value to our external partners (clients/ERP/3rd parties), improve the APIs Suite, participate in the build of a self-serve solution, create tools that help automate data flows needed by clients and/or internal JOOR teams that work with integrations, improve internal teams’ daily routines with AI and automation, etc
  • Create solutions that save costs from external tools in use and save time for our clients and integration team members
  • Manage Integrations Engineers and assist them in their implementation tasks
  • Partner with Sales, Client Management, Product Management, and Engineering to translate customer needs into a better overall product that delivers a better Wholesale Data Exchange experience to our clients
  • Animate Technical Integrations-related learning sessions for internal & external attendees
  • Act as a pre-sales integrations consultant for the sales team during prospect calls for key clients
  • Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support for Tier 3 integrations questions/tickets from clients
  • Stay aware of the existing solutions in the Market
  • Be proactive and suggest beneficial changes to the team in terms of tools, process, strategy, technology, etc
