Role
Who you are
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Accounting or related program
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
Desirable
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment is necessary
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience processing invoices a strong plus
- Experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
What the job involves
- The Accounting Intern may work on the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general Accounting team
- This person is responsible for creating, processing and transmitting customer invoices, processing vendor invoices, and administratively supporting the Accounting team
- Create, process and transmit customer invoices
- Review vendor information, route new vendors for approval and enter into system
- Review vendor invoices and submit for payment
- Address questions from our external customers and vendors
- Lend support to internal customers and teams regarding Accounting principles
- Assisting with other projects and financial matters as they arise
