Who you are

  • The ideal candidate is results-driven, a strong communicator, and a self-starter who is passionate about sales and joining a fast-growing sales organization
  • 4+ years progressive experience in sales or account management
  • Effective and persuasive communicator (both verbal and written) with an ability to summarize Blueground's value proposition
  • Excellent negotiation skills and customer service attitude
  • Knowledge of and network in the local tech scene is considered an advantage

What the job involves

  • We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Blueground for Business team in Boston
  • As an Account Manager on our Blueground for Business sales team, you will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential corporate partners
  • Create sales pipeline through proactive outreach to prospective customers utilizing a combination of email campaigns, networking, and market research
  • Communicate value propositions to clients that speak intimately to their needs and requirements
  • Cultivate and build strong business relationships with key corporate decision-makers (i.e. HR, Operations, Office Managers)
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing enterprise clients
  • Forecast and track key account metrics

It operates thousands of properties in 20+ cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Dubai, Istanbul, Paris, London, and Athens.

Taking clear inspiration from Airbnb, Blueground caters to the increasing demand for all medium and long-stay rentals - both from holidayers seeking more unique stays, and the growing nomadic workforce. Its focus on the renter experience - with additional services, such as regular housekeeping or maintenance, available through its app - are what makes the company stand out in the space.

Blueground has stated aims to have a presence in 50 cities around the world and a portfolio of more than 50,000 apartments by 2025, an ambitious goal that will rely heavily on its ability to scale its operationally-intensive business (due to the local support teams required). The recent acquisition of corporate housing specialist Travelers Haven will enable it to expand its US footprint, as it invests its latest funds into growth.
