Who you are

  • BS or BA degree preferred
  • At least one year of sales experience
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Rep, Account Executive or alike
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Goal oriented individual with outstanding and negotiation communication skills
  • Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts

What the job involves

  • As the Mid-Market Business Development Representative, you will be a strategic member of the broader Mid-Market sales team
  • In many cases, you will act as the first contact for Peek’s business prospects
  • Prospect amazing activity operators out there and find new leads as potential sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective partners and Account Executives
  • Collaborate with the team on account strategy, demand generation, activities, and results. Multitask and prioritize and complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
  • Build pipeline using proven sales methodologies
  • Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Peek products and technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc
  • Identify partner needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions and present new perspectives that challenge the way customers understand their business
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Demo and close inbound leads that fall below specific requirements for sales team engagements
  • Complete administrative responsibilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Learn complex concepts quickly and independently
