Role
Who you are
- To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a high energy, creative, team-oriented Finance Business Controller
- Master's degree from a business school, engineering school, or University, with a specialization in Finance
- 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Proficient in financial modeling
- Structured, organized, resourceful and rigorous person
- Experience with process automation and the use of advanced analytics tools
- Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with various departments
- Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus
- Experience with Anaplan, NetSuite, and Alteryx is a plus
- A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence is a plus
- Fluency in French and English required, as well as exposure to an international environment
What the job involves
- Budget, reforecasting management: Pilot and coordinate the budgeting and reforecasting process for all global Sales, Marketing and Customer Success departments
- Performance metrics: Build financial reporting and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Revenue optimization and cost control: Oversee and enhance revenue streams to align with company objectives and monitor cost control measures to boost financial performance
- Collaboration: Partner with Top management leaders, providing analysis and strategic insights to increase impact on business performance
- Business Partner: Actively challenge and support the business to drive performance and strategic initiatives
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to top management
- Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 3 business controllers, ensuring effective support for key departments
- Process Automation: Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and improve efficiency

Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this : if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.
Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 400 companies develop new marketplaces to drive adoption of their products. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises including Best Buy Canada, Carrefour and Office Depot – as well as industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.
Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding, most recently closing a Series E round at a valuation exceeding $3 billion. This investment is being used to triple the size of its engineering team and double its customer success staff headcount. With very solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market.
