Group Accountant, Delivery Hero

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Familiarity with IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally familiarity with consolidation software
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with various teams
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Prior exposure to group consolidation is a plus
• Professional certification such as ACCA or equivalent is advantageous

• We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our Central Finance team on our journey to deliver amazing experiences
• As a Group Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial reporting and accounting activities for our organization and its subsidiaries – including the consolidation of financial statements
• This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams
• The Group Accountant will contribute to ensuring accurate financial data, regulatory compliance, and insightful reporting to facilitate informed decision-making
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Delivery Hero Group. Ensure accuracy and adherence to IFRS and regulations
• Consolidation Support: Provide support in the consolidation process, including reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and elimination entries. Contribute to the accurate presentation of consolidated financials
• Accounting Expertise: Maintain a working knowledge of IFRS to ensure compliance and proper application for the DH Group and its subsidiaries
• Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments such as finance, treasury, and tax to gather necessary data for financial reporting. Assist in responding to queries from internal stakeholders
• Audit Assistance: Assist in providing required information and supporting documents during external audits and reviews
• Ad hoc Tasks: Contribute to special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements as assigned
