Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying
  • Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

What the job involves

  • As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and understanding business requirements to ensure our BI solutions effectively meet these needs
  • This role involves engaging with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyzing data needs, and ensuring the development of BI solutions aligns with overall business objectives
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, conduct interviews and workshops, and document detailed specifications for BI solutions
  • Data Analysis: Analyze business processes to identify data requirements, work with data architects and developers, and translate business needs into data models
  • Documentation and Specification: Create and maintain detailed documentation of requirements, use cases, and process flows, including developing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitate communication, and provide regular updates on progress
  • Validation and Testing: Develop and participate in test plans, assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), and identify and resolve issues during testing
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and refine processes, stay updated with industry trends, and provide recommendations for improvements
