Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably within the e-commerce, pricing or retail industry
  • Proficiency in using BigQuery for querying and analyzing large datasets
  • Strong expertise in creating visually appealing and insightful reports using Google Data Studio and Tableau
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset to address challenges in data quality and integrity
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and pricing strategies is a plus

What the job involves

  • We are currently seeking a talented data analyst to join our teams to build custom dashboards for our customers and manage internal dashboards to follow our main KPIs
  • Analyze large datasets from various sources to derive insights related to e-commerce distribution, pricing strategies, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements for analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Utilize BigQuery, Google Data Studio, and Tableau to design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards for reporting key metrics and for customers
  • Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization within the e-commerce ecosystem
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, providing recommendations for adjustments based on data-driven findings
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver actionable insights to drive business decisions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data analytics capabilities

Lengow was built to solve difficulties faced by e-merchants who had to undertake the tedious process of setting up and selling products on a variety of different marketplaces and online channels. Fast forward to today, and this problem is still relevant. With the rise of the digital world and the significant increase of online sellers, e-merchants still have to work through this long process, meaning that Lengow's offerings are still sought after.

Through its centralised platform, Lengow aims to automate as many steps in the process of listing products across different selling sites. The company does this through allowing product imports through a product management system to allow them to be posted on multiple channels instantly. Lengow also offers additional services including stock management, order tracking, and marketing strategies to optimise distributor and brand performance.

Lengow has attempted to keep up with tech developments, such as the launch of a decision-making operator that would release data and algorithms to businesses for advanced data analysis and recommendations. Marlin Equity Partners' acquisition of a majority stake in Lengow will see it invest its vast resources to bolster the development of the company, particularly in international expansion, and Lengow's acquisition of Netrivals will allow it to deliver more value to its customers with new price intelligence offerings and a wider European footprint.
