Our take

Clevertap, formerly Leanplum, is a mobile app engagement platform that helps app-first companies personalize and optimize all customer touchpoints. Its software essentially enables mobile marketers and app owners to engage with their unique users in a personalized way.

It stands out amongst competitors with its mobile engagement tools that offer every corner of a mobile marketing strategy on one, unified platform. This takes away the need for third-party tools and creates an easier and quicker process. Its tools combine multi-channel Lifecycle Marketing with the ability to A/B test the Product Experience, so marketers are able to experiment with different user experiences before coming to a final decision.

In 2022, CleverTap acquired Leanplum under the belief that both companies could become ‘better together’ in order to create an even more sophisticated product that will bring value for their combined global customers. The potential of this combined entity is one of much excitement and it's growing significantly after its substantial August 2022 series D.
