Role

Who you are

  • 5+ years of proven experience in outside sales or 2+ years selling AEDs in the field
  • Deep experience performing in-person sales presentations and demonstrating products (SaaS and physical products)
  • Experience owning a territory, identifying decision-makers, and driving demand. You’ve developed new leads by walking into businesses to form relationships, set appointments, and demo products on the fly
  • Someone willing to dive into a new project, fail fast, figure out what works, and scale efforts
  • Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, and other sales-based tools and programs
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem-solving ability. Positive and patient
  • Curious, adaptable, and coachable, not afraid to learn about new tools, systems, and best practices that might incorporate to help our team constantly improve
  • Flexible and patient. You know that new companies constantly grow and change, so reports run today might look different tomorrow

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a full-time Account Executive to help us manage a territory by prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and selling directly to new customers.
  • We need an experienced self-starter who is willing to help us from day 1 to achieve our sales performance goals! This critically important role will be one of the first faces of our company, calling, emailing, and holding meaningful conversations with prospects and customers. You will source sales accounts directly, as well as work developed leads from our inbound call center and SDR sales channels
  • Identifying and prospecting for new customers, reaching out to potential leads (by email, heavy outbound calling, and dropping in for in-person visits and demonstrations)
  • Setting-up quality sales meetings and appointments. Nurture relationships and close deals
  • Regularly travel throughout your territory (approximately 20% travel)
  • Coming up with creative customized outreach ideas to reach new customers
  • Channel your resilience, positivity, curiosity, and passion for our mission to remain focused and determined with outreach and follow-up activities
  • Build relationships with a wide variety of people, across multiple sectors and mediums. We sell to many diverse markets such as: law enforcement, Fire/EMS, large enterprise businesses, and small-medium sized businesses and organizations

Our take

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the US, taking the lives of over 350,000 people per year. Currently, the survival rate for SCA is extremely low, but chances rise substantially if treatment can be administered quickly.

Avive Solutions exists to support better survival rates for SCA. The idea is to supply normal people with the tools to save lives, by developing and supplying automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The company's machines, which are currently the most portable FDA-approved AEDs on the market, not only act as defibrillators but also connect to other devices for remote monitoring, and can communicate with 911.

With the ultimate vision that no witnessed SCA goes untreated, there is no denying that Avive's undertaking is a noble one. Its product has been recognised by the International Design Excellence Awards, and substantial growth funding will be used to build connected AED networks in cities that enable AEDs to be used on Sudden Cardiac Arrest cases well before emergency services can arrive on scene.
