Who you are
- We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and help us build on this success!

- We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with expertise in managing Linux (Debian, Ubuntu) operating systems, which is required, while experience with Windows OS and Mac OSX is desired
- In the realm of configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), you should have required experience with Puppet (r10K, Hiera, Modules, PuppetDB) and Terraform. Packer and Helm experience is also desirable
- You must have required experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and Kubernetes
- For development services, proficiency in Git is required, and familiarity with the GitHub ecosystem, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Perforce, Incredibuild, and Veertu Anka Build is desirable
- Your scripting skills should include Bash as a requirement, with Python, Groovy (for automation), and PowerShell as desired skills
- Experience managing web servers or applications using Apache or Nginx is desirable
- Familiarity with relational databases and tools for monitoring, alerting, and logging such as Splunk, Prometheus (Alertmanager, Loki, Thanos), and Grafana is also desired. General security awareness is a must
- We value soft skills such as effective teamwork across different locations, a supportive attitude for developer teams, the ability to structure and prioritize tasks, problem-solving skills, dedication and a keen interest in learning, knowledge sharing and collaboration, and strong documentation abilities
- Tasty bonus skills include experience working with heavy CI/CD pipelines in a multi-OS environment, implementing CI/CD using Kubernetes, and working with Agile methodologies
What the job involves
- At King, the Engineering System & Support (ESS) team provides critical capabilities for our developers, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), build infrastructure, and dependent services
- Ur team manages repository solutions for code, binaries, and libraries, build pipelines, and code quality/review tools
- These components are integrated into a cohesive stack that includes configuration management, tool integrations, and infrastructure technologies
- As a Sr. Systems Engineer on the ESS team, you will be involved in large-scale system design and troubleshooting, your focus will be to provide a high quality Developer Experience by implementing and improving ESS services and products
- Our main goal as a team is to contribute to speed up the Game Development Lifecycle

In 2016, King was bought by gaming giant Activision Blizzard, which has since been purchased by Microsoft. While the company still operates with a high degree of independence, it has greatly profited from the financial and marketing support of its parent corporation. This support has been instrumental in enabling King to maintain its competitiveness in the constantly evolving mobile gaming industry.
