Role

Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of direct sales experience, is ambitious, high-energy, has an insatiable appetite to learn and have a strong understanding of SaaS based financial planning solutions, or BI solutions
  • 2+ years of direct / full-cycle sales experience selling SaaS business solutions to the office of the CFO
  • Able to effectively accomplish activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact and influence C-level executives and team members
  • History of meeting/exceeding new business sales targets
  • Strong and effective written, oral and telephone skills
  • Experience with CRM systems, social media and Microsoft Office

What the job involves

  • The Account Executive will play a key role in our 2024 growth strategy in the market
  • Develop pipeline, maintain forecast accuracy, achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Sell the entire Planful product stack and professional services
  • Demonstrated understanding of the full sales life-cycle: prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, consultative selling, value selling, presenting, developing proposals, overcoming objections and closing sales
  • Build relationships and collaborate with Planful Channel Partners, internal marketing, sales development teams, pre-sales and services teams
  • Attend company trade shows, conferences, industry meetings and other avenues to initiate new sales of Planful
  • Build and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets on a quarterly basis
  • Carry-out customer centric meetings, presentations and product demonstrations both virtually and in person with key decision-makers and influencers

Having spent over 8 years at ANZ , Grant went onto cco-found ProductBank and Brand Manager. In 2007, he went onto become CEO of Orbis for 5 years. Since then, Grant has worked at Anaplan as CMO and OmniSci as CCO.
