Role

Who you are

  • Have some experience with, or desire to learn functional programming, ideally in Haskell
  • You have worked on the full stack of a software product
  • You're passionate about learning. We don't expect you to know everything, but want you to be excited to learn!
  • You have experience working with relational databases using SQL
  • You have a pragmatic mindset. Perfect is the enemy of good!

Desirable

  • You have experience working on a commercial Haskell codebase
  • You've worked on distributed systems

What the job involves

  • Building new features with guidance from our senior engineers
  • Daily maintenance of our systems, including in hours support
  • Talk to stakeholders when requirements aren't clear
  • Take requirements and turn them into working software
  • Contribute to planning, refining and retrospectives
