Role
Who you are
- Have some experience with, or desire to learn functional programming, ideally in Haskell
- You have worked on the full stack of a software product
- You're passionate about learning. We don't expect you to know everything, but want you to be excited to learn!
- You have experience working with relational databases using SQL
- You have a pragmatic mindset. Perfect is the enemy of good!
Desirable
- You have experience working on a commercial Haskell codebase
- You've worked on distributed systems
What the job involves
- Building new features with guidance from our senior engineers
- Daily maintenance of our systems, including in hours support
- Talk to stakeholders when requirements aren't clear
- Take requirements and turn them into working software
- Contribute to planning, refining and retrospectives
