Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, event planning, sales, campaign marketing, or brand marketing, preferably within B2B technology or SaaS environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Slack, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and event platforms (e.g., Splash)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Events, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred but not necessary
  • A passion for field marketing and event execution, with a focus on delivering impactful experiences that drive engagement, strengthen relationships, and create memorable experiences for everyone involved

What the job involves

  • As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of Sigma's field marketing programs and events
  • Reporting to the Director, Field Marketing, the Field Marketing Specialist will support Field Marketing Managers in driving engagement through field events and campaigns, you will execute strategic marketing initiatives to ensure the success of regional programs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing team and make a direct impact on Sigma’s brand presence, lead generation, and field marketing execution
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Help implement regional marketing campaigns that align with Sigma's overall marketing strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper execution and measurement of each campaign. Be responsible for pre-event communication and set up: create event briefs, custom registration pages, registration trackers, collaborative slack channels, pre and post-event emails, swag ideation, etc
  • Event Support: In addition to planning, aid in the coordination and execution of field programs such as roadshows, conferences, booth activations, and curated regional programs. Ensure all logistical details are managed and events are delivered seamlessly. Help run the show!
  • Lead Management: Partner with sales and marketing operations teams to manage post-event lead follow-up and track campaign performance. Ensure accurate reporting and provide feedback on event flow and quality of leads generated
  • Brand Material Management: Assist design teams with the customization of marketing materials, event branding, and swag. Own our swag store, helping other departments access and request marketing materials. Creativity and detail focus are crucial here
  • Vendor and Partner Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, venues, and partners to manage event logistics, ensuring high-quality experiences for attendees
  • Budget Management: Support Field Marketing Managers in tracking and managing regional marketing budgets. Ensure spending aligns with event and campaign goals
  • Internal Communication: Serve as the liaison between regional sales teams and the marketing team, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and expectations
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and reporting tools to track the success of field events and campaigns. Recommend optimizations based on performance metrics and feedback
  • Brand Advocacy: Be a brand champion for Sigma Computing by ensuring consistent messaging and experience across all field marketing touchpoints
