Who you are

  • First-class relationship building and sales skills are a must, while bringing your own network of connections is ideal
  • Have experience in channel partnerships, sales or business development in an eCommerce agency, product or platform company
  • Have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-Suite executives, with a passion for understanding of how software products can help solve complex business problems
  • Are a fearless networker who enjoys operating out of your comfort zone and can be highly adaptable in a rapidly growing, constantly changing environment
  • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to help position the most innovative solutions to solve eCommerce challenges
  • 3+ years of channel sales or agency sales experience in client-facing role with a proven track record of hitting revenue targets
  • Prior experience with a Shopify/Klaviyo agency or an ESP/SMS/Reviews/Loyalty/Subscription SaaS company
  • Business acumen – you know how businesses work, knowledgeable in current/future practices, trends, technology, etc
  • Strategic agility- you see ahead, anticipate relationship and decision-making dynamics, naturally adapt to situations etc
  • First class presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Natural collaborator and team player: you find common ground/solve problems for the good of all
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Degree or relevant work experience required

What the job involves

  • To further accelerate Yotpo’s explosive growth in the Shopify ecosystem, we’re hiring a Partner Manager (MS)
  • In this highly visible role, you will initiate, build & own relationships with our top full service digital marketing & retail agencies, with the goal of driving new product sales referrals, pipeline growth, closed revenue and expanding new client reach within the existing and growing network of Shopify partners, ensuring the highest level of success with our Yotpo’s brands
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams is critical to success
  • On a daily basis, you will proactively support complex sales-cycles with our most strategic accounts while providing our agency partners with ongoing product, sales and enablement training

Our take

The retail sector is continuing its decisive pivot towards eCommerce, creating a vast and growing market for innovative eCommerce tools and software. Yotpo is a SaaS-based eCommerce marketing startup offering integrated data-driven loyalty, SMS marketing, and review solutions, amongst others, on a single platform.

The company has already secured strategic partnerships with major eCommerce platforms including Shopify, Salesforce, and Adobe. In a sector where the breadth of reach is key, it is wise to deepen existing partnerships and continue with new acquisitions - both of which appear to have remained a priority for Yotpo alongside the launch of its eCommerce Retention Marketing Platform in 2023.

Its focus on a single platform and integrated experience is likely to be a success, as the spate of new eCommerce tools is creating a real need for streamlined and optimized management as the sector develops.
