Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will excel at building and maintaining security products in the cloud security domain
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related engineering or equivalent and 8+ years experience
- Must have experience using workflow engines (Activiti, Bonita etc.)
- Proven knowledge of Java Language, common Java API's and Spring framework as well as JavaScript and Node.js, knowledge of frontend frameworks like react.js, Vue.js, Ember.js
- Experience in Identity Governance and knowledge on general Security and IAM (Identity and access management) domains are helpful
- Should have experience being event driven systems and pub-sub architecture
- Experience building and deploying applications on Kubernetes and any hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Istio
- Experience and good understanding of key security technologies e.g. TLS 1.2+, X.509, OIDC, FIDO2 and basic cryptography

- EBay is looking for outstanding developers with a security background to join our Cloud Security Team
- We are seeking Software Engineers who are passionate about using the latest technologies to bring our eBay Platform Security forward with respect to functionality, performance, scalability and reliability
- You will work closely with Product Management, Architects and the Operations teams
- Working on backend and frontend design and development of web applications
- Collaborate with end users and partners and help define product requirements
- Supporting and ownership of applications throughout software development process (SDLC)
- Building infrastructure and applications for various domains and scenarios
- Design efficient and resilient software solutions using micro-services architecture
