Who you are

  • You’re comfortable getting involved tactically and leading strategically to move fast, deliver impact, and drive change to continuously help us elevate team and individual performance
  • 5-10 years experience in Talent management or learning and organization development and experiences with Talent Review, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Career Pathing
  • 3-5 years business and leadership experience

  • Experience designing, developing and supporting global, organization-wide talent management programs covering performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management
  • Knowledge of leading, modern, innovative and practical approaches in Talent Management
  • Ability to research, diagnose, evaluate alternatives, and test/execute an approach in an (almost) scientific way
  • Data-driven and understands relevant metrics and how to evaluate talent management effectiveness
  • Familiar with human-centered design: desirability-what people need; viability-what the business needs; feasibility - the format needed to deliver
  • Knowledge and experience with change management methodologies and leading and facilitating large-scale organization/transformational change initiatives
  • Excellent influence, presentation, project management, and communication skills

What the job involves

  • The Director, Talent Management will lead the strategy and hands-on implementation of practical solutions in all areas of Talent Management (Talent Review, Performance Management, Critical Role Identification, Career Pathing)
  • You will collaborate with business leaders and other HR functions and Talent Management COEs to support ZoomInfo’s people strategy and goals by leveraging effective communication, strategic leadership, a consultative mindset, strong analytical skills, and teamwork
  • You will use a systems approach, and serve as a strategic partner to evolve and reinforce the strategies, structures, processes and culture for Talent Management and performance and lead the execution of comprehensive strategies, initiatives, action plans and processes to improve organizational performance at ZoomInfo
  • Shape, design, and deliver world-class practices in Talent Management throughout all levels of the organization
  • Serve as a credible partner with business leaders on key Talent Management initiatives for employees
  • Work closely with the VP, Talent Management & Development and HR leadership team to shape, test & implement the company’s mid- and long-term strategies for talent management to address key organizational needs and efforts required for continued global growth
  • Lead the design, development and integration of all end-to-end talent management processes and programs globally, including performance management, and organization talent review, succession planning and career pathing
  • Work with and influence the business leaders on direction, sponsorship, and ownership, and ensures Human Resources community and leader readiness for leading, facilitating and supporting all talent management efforts
  • Assess, build, and sustain a high-performing lean direct-report team of 2 program managers who know internal and external trends in the market
  • Research and assist in the development of Performance Management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management and Performance Management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Collaborate cross functionally in the implementation of the company's people strategy
  • Leverage people insights to drive results, measure program adoption, effectiveness, and value for team members
  • Partner with HR colleagues and leaders to ensure consistency in the application of Talent Management programs
