  • 3+ years’ experience in a B2B Account Management, Relationship Management or Customer Success role in the FinTech and/or Payments industry
  • 2+ years’ experience managing multiple direct reports in a fast paced environment
  • A strategic problem solver with excellent project management skills
  • Good knowledge of today’s major e commerce and payments technologies, players and major future trends
  • Customer-centric approach with robust relationship-building skills
  • Multifaceted approach adapting to changing requirements with the ability to balance multiple opportunities concurrently
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across multiple departments and influencing internal and external stakeholders

What the job involves

  • Checkout.com is actively looking for a strategic-thinking, resourceful and highly driven Account Manager, Team Lead. Reporting to the Regional AM Leader, you will develop and mentor a team supporting them to nurture and grow long-term relationships with our Enterprise merchants. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most successful FinTech companies at a turning point of its global expansion
  • Alongside the team, you will lead by example demonstrating success on your own portfolio. Our Account Managers are the first point of contact to a merchant post integration process and provide valuable business insights.
  • You will act as the voice of our product and ambassador of our brand, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our merchants. Key for success here will be the ability to apply your business savvy knowledge and the required gravitas to effectively communicate and influence at all levels to achieve win-win scenarios and promote the value proposition
  • Lead a team of Junior Account Managers providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance team members' skills and performance
  • Delivering expertise and education to direct team as they craft merchant specific account development plans focusing on revenue generation
  • Analyze merchant’s performance and provide recommendations to improve the payment flow /revenue
  • Understanding the intricacies of our products, services and partner networks thoroughly to leverage as needed to meet our merchants’ needs
  • Collaborating with various teams across the company (e.g. Sales, Legal, Integration, Support to ensure an outstanding merchant experience
  • Drive a culture of cross-team learning and to improve communication and knowledge sharing and act as a point of escalation for your team to remove roadblocks and reduce complexity
