Our take

eSIMS are mostly used for IoT products, cell phones, and sensors and are used globally across the majority of mobile users. The demand for remote SIMs for mobiles has seen steady growth, more specifically for use in machine-to-machine contact using all channels of communication. IoT has seen an increase in popularity globally and is used in many sectors, including healthcare, cars, and e-commerce, creating a large demand for eSIMS.

EMnify is the leading cloud communication platform provider for IoT - it provides a cloud-based infrastructure to allow companies and businesses to seamlessly scale up operations globally, creating a pain-free integration process. The company provides reliable and robust cellular IoT connectivity for a wide range of devices, including those in the agriculture, energy meter, health, and mobility sectors. EMnify aims to be customer-focused and works with experts that allow the company to operate within over 70 countries.

A $57M investment in 2022 has allowed EMnify to scale up on a much larger scale. Going forward, the company intends to expand globally with a specific focus on Central Europe and the US, and also aims to further develop the IoT technology it uses, with the hope of strengthening its position within the market.
