Role

Who you are

  • Strong proficiency in Python, specifically for data science applications, with regular use of common Python data libraries such as Numpy and Pandas and experience working with python-based platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance
  • Knowledge of financial instruments (possess a deep understanding of at least one asset class, including equities, futures, fixed income, or options), with a genuine interest in expanding their knowledge into quantitative research and systematic trading systematic investing
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to both support and gather feedback from clients and relay actionable requirements that can be understood by engineering teams. Able to tailor communication style to audience
  • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We value self-starters who are able to take ownership of their work and contribute proactively to the team's success
  • Experience and highly-motivated person who can support existing customer base while identifying opportunities for product and client expansion

What the job involves

  • Proactively learn the SigTech python-based platform in order to effectively support the existing user base and identify opportunities for product development
  • Develop knowledge of financial instruments and systematic investing to better understand the goals and workflows of clients
  • Actively manage existing accounts, working to expand relationships and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Conduct effective demonstrations of the SigTech platforms to prospects, and manage the sales process through diligent follow-ups and relationship building
  • Provide scalable solutions to client queries or escalate as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and quant teams in an agile environment to deliver incremental product value
  • Periodically collaborate with the marketing team on content creation and releases
