Who you are

  • We are now searching for a Senior Content Marketing Manager (“Manager,” not just “Writer”) with significant experience in B2B content marketing to join our content team
  • We are looking for a dynamic personality, someone who can take initiative, lead projects, connect the dots, and make things happen - also by always asking the right questions, pushing boundaries, and questioning the status quo
  • Obviously, as a Senior Content Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will also have to be a proven, versatile writer who can copy-edit and line-edit different types of materials (written by others) to make sure strategy and tone are aligned with the big picture
  • At least two previous content marketing roles in B2B tech companies
  • A clear career progression in content marketing, and a total of at least 4-5 years in B2B tech content marketing roles
  • English - Native language level
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a deep-rooted understanding of what it takes to engage readers with compelling content
  • Experience writing and editing for all types of materials and formats (blogs, presentations, scripts, sales material) with a clear understanding of how context plays a role in each
  • Creative mindset
  • Native English level, verbal and written
  • Self-starter who can take charge
  • The ability to work well within and across teams and give/receive constructive feedback

What the job involves

  • For about half the time, you will write engaging materials that range from short-copy to ebooks and everything in between
  • This requires collaborating with stakeholders from other teams, understanding (and questioning) briefs, and delivering quality materials on tight, dynamic deadlines
  • For the other half of your time, you will help other team members see the big picture, connect the dots, and uphold high standards regarding alignment of strategy and voice while regularly meeting deadlines
  • This requires a dynamic, never-settling, and curious personality, someone well-versed in moving projects from A to Z, and someone who is relentless in their passion to make sure everything we create is top-notch, not only their own tasks
  • In between, you will also own and lead content projects initiated by the Head of Content, VP Brand, Chief Strategy Officer, and yourself
  • This requires the ability to hear something once and then run with it
  • The person in this role will also help with the daily prioritization of the entire team’s tasks, which requires a strategic mindset
  • They will regularly help other team members solve problems on the go, ensuring we meet deadlines while providing quality materials
  • Developing great connections with stakeholders from other teams and a fantastic understanding of the subject matter will be crucial to succeed in this role, which requires a curious, self-starting personality, too
