Company mission

FindMine's mission is to create a new category for scaling client brands' unique points of view. Its understanding of Brand POV and unique datasets empowers merchants and marketers to automate up to 95% of outfits for their product catalogs.

Role

Who you are

  • You have held a similar role before either as a Chief of Staff in a Series A or later startup, or as an early startup employee PLUS experience in strategy or consulting working directly with C-Suite leadership
  • You have an MBA from a top tier university or received an MBA while running your own startup / working in a senior level role in a fast growing organization
  • You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships, cross-functionally and externally
  • You are an expert at crafting a compelling story - given the grain of an idea you love to form a hypothesis, run down the data, build a business case, create a beautiful deck summarizing the opportunity, and pitch and negotiate to get an idea brought to life
  • You understand consumer experience either from your past roles working in B2B SaaS for companies serving end consumers, or as a consumer yourself (ideally both!)
  • You are extremely strong analytically but also equally comfortable in Canva as in Excel, and you love translating data into high-impact executive summaries that look slick
  • You are a great problem-solver who doesn't get stuck or throw up your hands, but rather hunt down an answer or someone in your network who could help you get the answer
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • You have exceptional organizational and project management skills

What the job involves

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop, refine, and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the company's vision and goals
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide insights into market trends, competition, and potential areas for business growth
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Attend meetings with CEO and ensure timely and high-quality follow-up on action items
  • Own the board meeting presentation process, and continually improve it
  • Work closely with CEO on investor initiatives including fundraising and existing investor relations
  • Craft, maintain, measure, and enhance the relationship with finance parters
  • Be ultimately responsible for forecasts, financial statement reporting, cash flow management, investment strategy, etc. before going to CEO & board
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among the executive leadership team
  • Ensure that key decisions and priorities are communicated throughout the organization
  • Create, own, and optimize the dashboards that measure success across all areas of the company
  • Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with the company's overall objectives
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation

Otta's take

COO of Otta

FindMine is an intelligent retail software that offers customers additional items during the sales process to complete an outfit, set, or beauty concept. Brands benefit from new products being integrated into their current range quickly, improving sales and reducing manual work by up to 90%. Customers, in turn, see products that complete a whole outfit or look during the purchase process. The company estimates that its customer brands see an uplift of 3-7% in e-commerce revenue.

FindMine claims to be at the forefront of a new way of shopping, where the consumer begins the process through a set of interactions, and AI learns from these, creating a bespoke profile. The use of AI in the fashion sector is estimated to be worth over $4 billion by 2027, and online retailers embracing the trend toward technology-driven shopping will benefit. FindMine estimates that customers spend 3x more when guidance is provided by the brand they are purchasing from.

The company has already forged partnerships with SAP, Oracle, Shopify, Salesforce, and more, making the integration process straightforward for retailers. The platform counts Adidas, Callaway, Reebok, and Perry Ellis amongst its customers.
