Who you are

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing and shipping impactful product experiences
  • Experience designing high-quality, complex SaaS products that customers love and value
  • Conducted user research and turned research insights into product solutions
  • Strong communication skills and advocacy for customers
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams in dynamic, agile environments
  • Proficiency of common design tools, such as Figma
  • Advanced knowledge of the end-to-end product design process, including research, product strategy, ideation, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, concept refinement, and high-fidelity designs

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Product Designer at Affinity, you’ll have the opportunity to fundamentally change the way people leverage their relationships to do business
  • As a designer, you’ll be working on complex SaaS products to make them more intuitive and useful
  • In this role, you’ll be part of a team of talented product designers who work together to understand our customers' needs and design solutions that provide real value
  • Partner with Product and peer Designers to conduct research to understand our customers’ needs and identify insights that inform product decisions and strategy
  • Designing projects across all stages of the design process from vision to implementation
  • Collaborating with partners in Product and Engineering to design and build impactful experiences
  • Turning complex intelligence data into useful, clear, actionable insights for our customers
  • Being proactive in contributing ideas to help Affinity continuously improve as a product and as a company
  • Contributing to creating and enhancing our world-class design team and community

Our take

Up to 90% of company profiles in traditional customer relationship management systems (CRMs) are incomplete or out-of-date, causing missed sales opportunities and wasted time. Affinity exists to change this state of affairs, using AI to analyse a company's communications and interactions to provide the most accurate profile possible, powering sales and excellent customer relationships.

While other modern CRMs exist, few of them are able to automate data input on the scale of Affinity, which has processed around 20 trillion emails and hundreds of thousands of calendar events to date. It also focuses on industries that are underserved in the CRM sector, including investment banking and real estate. This has grown it a client base of more than 1,800 customers including major enterprises such as Bain Capital Ventures, Nike and Twilio.

Affinity is focusing on expanding its sales, marketing, and engineering teams to grow its customer base and develop new products. As companies look to both improve the performance of their sales teams and reduce costs in manual data entry, Affinity's product is likely to remain extremely popular.
