Role
Who you are
- BS with 2 year+ working experience or MS in Computer Science or related fields
- Experience with software development processes including: source control, bug tracking and design documentation
- Proficiency in Java/C++, object-oriented programming, and component-oriented architecture
Desirable
- Industry experience in one of these fields: Recommendation, Search, Online Advertising and Content Management System
- Industry experience in building Large scale distributed backend systems
- Systematic data driven problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive
What the job involves
- Assist the architecting, designing, and implementing of features for various NewsBreak products at massive scale with data-driven iteration
- Help with the definition and implementation of content processing, management and delivery process of both User generated content and Platform generated content
- Improve recommendation user experience by optimizing distributed backend services performance and focus on both scale and reliability
- Collaborate with Machine Learning Experts to build infrastructures to support state-of-the-art Machine Learning systems including Ranking, NLP and Computer Vision
