Role
Who you are
- You have 3+ years experience in Payroll Management in Germany, other countries is an advantage, as well as experience as HR Generalist
- You have excellent knowledge of financial principles and ability to reconcile payroll with financial records
- You are detail oriented and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex payroll calculation data
- You are well organized with time management and effective prioritization skills to meet strict payroll deadlines
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
- You have high level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- You are a native German speaker, and speak English at a good level to engage with all international team members within Solaris
What the job involves
- Responsible for the preparation and follow-up of payroll for all employees in Germany, Italy, Spain and France in close cooperation with the local payroll providers and the local legal team
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies in processing payroll
- Accountable for verification and approval of local payroll in compliance with applicable regulations
- Manage and maintain the payroll systems, ensure data integrity and perform system upgrades and enhancements
- Respond to employee enquiries and issues related to payroll and support with audit enquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll related information
- Take ownership for a dedicated group of employees as a People & Organization generalist with responsibilities for the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding, change management to off-boarding
- Support for enquiries regarding the remuneration system with reference to IVV
