Who you are

  • Motivated by driving business outcomes and overachieving on targets
  • Experience building a new business from scratch or launching new solutions to complex problems
  • Entrepreneurial and a self-starter mentality
  • Experience in driving complex sales cycles
  • 3 to 5 years of previous successful experience as a sales manager
  • Understanding of the Global Payroll market is a must
  • English plus a second European language is a plus
  • Has the ability to build trust with clients and serve as their advisor or consultant
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong business acumen

What the job involves

  • We are looking for someone to spearhead our EMEA sales team for our revolutionary Payroll product. Remote has developed a multi-country payroll product that makes Payroll easy, and flexible and helps customers save on costs through consolidation
  • As the first manager on the team, you will have the opportunity to create a new sales process from scratch and hire a specialized senior team. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial individual seeking a leadership challenge
  • Most importantly, you will have the chance to shape Remote's payroll product through customer feedback and create a completely new go-to-market strategy. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the new wave of payroll products
  • Hire and manage a high-performing team of account executives focused on selling Global Payroll
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase market penetration and boost our payroll product's market share
  • Hit quarterly revenue and new logo targets
  • Identify segments where our Global Payroll solution can provide business value and sell them through inspiring solution selling with our clients
  • Collaborate with our Product team to help shape the best product in the market
  • Build the necessary framework to get the team to self-generate leads by contacting prospective clients by telephone, cold call premise visits, networking
  • Work with other parts of Remote to ensure happy and successful clients
  • You'll report to: Vice President, Sales - EMEA
  • Direct reports: 6-8 Global Payroll Sales Specialist
