Senior Product Designer, Toast

• 4+ years of experience in a product design role
• Demonstrated experience designing software through the full product life cycle from idea to market launch
• Experience conceptualizing MVP experiences, quickly validating with users and iterating based on learnings
• Advanced proficiency in designing intuitive experiences across responsive web and native mobile platforms including wireframes, user journey maps, prototypes and detailed designs
• Ability to work with UI components to create pixel perfect experiences
• Experience collaborating with a cross-functional team to understand users and then translate that understanding into design artifacts that shape thinking and guide development
• Comfortable planning and executing user research studies that generate insights to positively impact design and business goals
• Experience establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced hybrid work environment and independently prioritize across multiple projects
• This is a hybrid role that will require occasional work at our Boston office and traveling to visit customers

• The POS team is responsible for creating intuitive and efficient workflows for the Toast point of sale software platform powering restaurant-grade hardware
• This team focuses on delivering cohesive device software experiences that simplify complex actions, drive efficiency and empower servers to delight guests while taking orders
• This Senior Product Designer will be a key member of the team, focused on the quality and outcomes for a key payment experience
• They will use remote and onsite research to deeply understand user needs then directly apply those insights to designs that deliver clear value
• They will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and other designers to craft end to end experiences that span multiple platforms and elevate new opportunities
