What the job involves

  • As a Business Development Representative, you will help build a pipeline of qualified opportunities by being a great listener and questioner, profoundly understanding the prospect’s needs while teaching them what they may not already know
  • You will call on marketing-generated leads, respond to inbound requests, and work on targeted outbound lists of prospects to qualify opportunities for the Account Executives
  • This fully remote role reports to the Head of Business Development Representatives
  • Be an external ambassador for Jasper in the market
  • Execute various outbound sales campaigns targeting Enterprise Marketers across multiple industries
  • Find new opportunities and tee them up for a successful sales experience with an Account Executive
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Prospect within potential accounts through personal introductions from our investors/advisors/execs, cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Identify the needs of potential clients, and challenge them on problems they may not yet recognize
  • Research prospective customers using available resources
  • Accurately update, maintain and create leads, contacts, and pipelines using the company CRM system
  • Help grow the sales team and build a scalable, repeatable process

Jasper allows enterprises to create written copy and content quickly for a range of purposes, from SEO rankings to ad conversions and social media posts across a growing list of languages.

While AI has been going mainstream across many industries, its use in creative content production, rather than content analysis, has largely been met with doubt. Jasper is attempting to up the standards with its writing assistant, which can generate original long or short form content based on a short brief.

With over 100,000 customers, Jasper is used by a number of high-profile companies such as Google, IBM, and Airbnb. While ChatGPT has been dominating the news space surrounding generative AI, it has significant limits resulting from overburdened servers and a long waitlist to use the product - whereas JasperAI provides faster results and is readily available. The company is well set to see further growth as it rides the rising popularity wave of generative AI.
